DIEP Flap Breast Reconstruction: Case 38

Description

Patient underwent double mastectomies at another hospital, along with implant reconstruction. She was very unhappy with her implants, as they were shaped "gummy bear" implants that kept flipping and rotating inside her. She underwent removal of both of her implants and DIEP flap breast reconstruction. She was incredibly pleased with the natural feel of her breasts after flap reconstruction without implants.
