Oncoplastic Breast Reconstruction: Case 7
Description
This is a 53 year old female from Bridgeport, Connecticut, who was diagnosed with left breast cancer behind her left nipple. She desired breast conservation and also wanted to save her nipple. She underwent a left partial mastectomy and oncoplastic reconstruction to fill in the defect and also lift and reduce her breast. She had a free nipple graft in order to save her nipple and areola and avoid the need for future nipple reconstruction and tattooing. She also underwent a right breast reduction and lift to make her breasts symmetric. She is cancer-free and very pleased with the outcome.
