Smooth Skin with Dermaplaning
For the smoothest skin ever, try our new combination treatment of Dermaplaning and Microdermabrasion. Two of our patients’ favorite procedures, Dermaplaning and DermaSweep® microdermabrasion, were always enjoyed separately. We decided to offer them together as one treatment, to give the best of both worlds.
Dermaplaning with Microdermabrasion
Dermaplaning is performed by one of our skin care specialist nurses. She uses a special blade to exfoliate the skin and remove any vellus hair (“peach fuzz”). This leaves the skin as smooth as can be and also gently exfoliates the top layer of dead dry skin cells. This treatment is then followed by a DermaSweep® particle-free microdermabrasion treatment. This procedure further resurfaces the skin with its patented bristles and increases blood flow to the skin with its vacuum pressure. The result is skin with a silky smooth feel, but also deeper resurfacing and penetration with the DermaSweep® Epi Infusions or PeelFusions.
Treatment of Age Spots and Fine Wrinkles
DermaSweep® Epi Infusions allow customized treatments of the skin, whether it is for hydration, hyperpigmentation, photodamage, or acne. With a DermaSweep® PeelFusion, after the microdermabrasion is performed, a chemical peel is infused into the skin for total skin rejuvenation. A PeelFusion works best for fine lines and wrinkles, brown spots, sun spots, age spots, and uneven pigmentation of the skin.
